COMMENTS AND CLARIFICATIONS

  1. Courses must be taught by an Authorized Certification Provider. A complete list of the Authorized Certification Providers can be found here.
  2. For a project that is a part of the certification process, the system constituting the project foundation could be a product (complete system, any sub-system, a part, etc.) or a process (a service or a manufacturing process in its entirety or any of the stages of the production / service life-cycle such as transportation, storage, etc.).
  3. A project on "Analysis and Solution of a System Related Problem" must address a failure of a system to achieve a respective goal. The nature of the failure must be either the presence of an undesired Event (for example, breakage of a part; overheating of an element; loss of functionality, etc.) or the absence of a desired Event (e.g. lack of heat transfer, separation of two mixed substances, etc.).
  4. A project on "Forecast of the Evolution of a System" consists of determining future generations of a system (a product or a process; see the above description) through applications of GTI-based tools such as Natural Laws of the Evolutionary Process, etc.

Innovation is defined as a process aimed at value creation that consists in changing the composition of a set of variables describing a system of one's choice.

Welcome to the Institute of Professional Innovators (IPI)! Our mission is to provide both individuals and organizations (including nonprofit entities and government agencies) with the knowledge, skills and tools required for developing their "On-Demand Innovation" capability and making innovation their core competence.

The above results are enabled by the General Theory of Innovation (GTI), a scientific theory that transforms the capricious and random art of innovation into a set of robust orderly science-based processes with highly predictable and consistently successful outcomes. Now you can control innovation by using the power of science. Welcome to IPI, the home of GTI!
